Terms and Conditions
We aim to create a welcoming, safe, and brave space for personal reflection and community experience, and look forward to the prospect of you joining us. The terms and conditions below are legally necessary for us to host the retreat, but rest assured we are a friendly and welcoming group!
This event is wholly produced and owned by Dryad Publishing, Inc (DBA Ireland Retreats/The Porch). All applicants to any of these retreat agree to hold harmless Dryad Publishing, Inc. from any claims and/or litigation that may arise from any actions connected with the retreats. Applicants shall fully defend, indemnify and hold harmless Dryad Publishing, Inc. from any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, causes of action, loss, liability, injury and/or damage of any kind whatsoever including without limitation all claims for property damage, monetary loss, personal injury, equitable relief, and/or wrongful death, whether brought by an individual or other entity or imposed by a court of law or by administrative action of any federal, state or local governmental body or agency that arises out of any acts negligence omission or willful misconduct in any way on the part of Dryad Publishing, Inc. This indemnification applies to and includes, without limitation the payment of all penalties, judgments, fines, awards, attorneys’ fees degrees and related costs or expenses and any reimbursements to Dryad Publishing, Inc. for all legal fees, expenses and costs that are incurred by it. Applicants agree that they will follow any retreat policies regarding public health and COVID-19. Dryad Publishing, Inc. strongly recommends that participant take out adequate personal travel insurance. The agreement shall be binding in the state of North Carolina and throughout the world.
A note on healthcare: The National Health Service in Northern Ireland offers world-class care, in some cases free at the point of need for visitors. Medical emergencies are of course, rare, and also possible, and if any emergency arises we will of course use our best efforts to connect you with the care you need, the cost of which will be your responsibility. For this and other reasons, we do strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance in advance of the retreat.
